I have 20 plus years fishing experience, fishing the Galveston and Matagorda Bay systems. I spend most of my days in the pristine back lake marshes and surrounding flats away from the main stream boat traffic. I target Redfish and Speckled Trout in a custom Shallowsport rigged for site casting and poling when opportunities arise. I specialize in fishing waters less than 3 feet deep; in search of trophy Redfish and Speckled Trout. I participate in local Pro-Redfish tournaments and support Pro-Team Blazer Bay/Bad Marine on all other state waters tournaments.

I only use Artifical baits and Lures, but I will carry live bait for kids (not included in trip fees).

I do encourage Catch and Release for trophy fish when ever possible.

I also provide Eco/Photo trips of the bay system marshes for birding and wildlife photo opportunities throughout the year. I do have scenic and wildlife prints for purchase through this web page.

Seasonal Events
I usually target Speckled Trout from Jan.-Jun., Redfish Mar.-Dec. and back to Speckled Trout in Oct.-Dec. These are the best times for these species with good mixed bags in Mar.-Jun. and Sept.-Dec.

I will customize trips for wading, drifting and site casting/poling depending on seasons and request.
